PadSeva was created with the goal of providing sanitary pads to women who do not have access to them, starting with women in select rural villages in South India. Additionally, we would like to educate and reduce the stigma around women’s menstrual health. 

We are just beginning our journey and have started fundraising to buy supplies and machinery to manufacture and then distribute pads to women. We plan to build a simple machine that produces pads and buy raw materials needed so that we can manufacture the pads ourselves at a large scale and low cost. We plan to distribute them to menstruating school girls, as well as menstruating women in rural villages through various medical camps and community distribution. We plan to raise awareness, educate, and reduce stigma through educational sessions at the schools and the medical camps. Eventually, we hope to fundraise enough money to set up an endowment fund for our first location, so that we can set up more machines and expand the range of our project.
